About Pharos Counselling & Psychotherapy

Pharos Counselling & Psychotherapy was established by Tomás Morley. Its services are grounded in person-centred therapy, built upon the teachings of Dr. Carl Rogers, a leading 20th Century psychologist.

For more information on Dr. Rogers and the person-centred approach visit http://www.bapca.org.uk/about/what-is-it.html

The name Pharos is the Greek word for Lighthouse or beacon of light. It symbolises the idea that as we move through life we may encounter troubled waters but there is always a light to guide us. The work of the counsellor is to help guide the client so that they discover their own safe path on their journey.
